Beacon Park Boats provide luxury canal boat holidays on the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal.

Challenge

Beacon Park Boats goal was to reduce the ongoing demand for phone enquiries. Their former website was dated, had poor user experience and didn't work responsively. Their online booking system was difficult was use and they desperately needed to digitise a lot of their services.

Solution

CORE’s solution was to design and develop a responsive and well designed website, that reflected the experiences of the product. We built a bespoke, easy to use booking platform that increased online customer bookings. Overall the website and booking platform reduced over-the-phone traffic dramatically.

The entire site was developed with a mobile first approach, ensuring that the overall experience was seamless for all users across all devices. Generally the target audience sat about 50 years of age, so we ensured that the site followed strict accessibility guidelines and all information was clear and accessible, cutting out the confusion.
